Like in WWI you get traped without a seperate item (gas mask) you die in 5 to whatever seconds.

thats a really good idea if only i could model and script

Why do people even try? It's a weapon, it cannot be done properly with events >.>.

Zones are great, but what happens when a person wants to, you know THROW the bomb...?

Very possible, but would require VCE for it's item-type detector events. An easy way would probably be to make a proximity detector on the projectile's collision which would kill you if you did not have a set item. I'm not sure if VCE can be coded directly into items, though.

maybe you can model the artillery strike thrown thing and turn the smoke into the poison gas.

Perhaps use the FlashBang
