Author Topic: WILL LEFT 4 DEAD 2 BE LAGGY ON A 2.8 GHz COMPUTER?  (Read 2085 times)

You do realize processing speed isn't the only thing that determines your fps on a game.

If it was my macbook would suck less for gaming.

I've been thinking about buying L4D on steam since I saw that thread about "I hate mountains"

Here's what my processor is on my laptop.

AMD Turion(tm) II Ultra Dual-Core Mobile M600 2.40GHz

With 4GBs of RAM.

Can I run it?

Kinda hard to tell fully without your graphic card listed either. But you should be fine in the CPU and RAM department.

Also I run it pretty well with a 2.8 GHz single core.

I have a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 Series. It's a mobile card, I can run Gmod, TF2, Alien Swarm, HL2 at really good performance.

Three operation systems.

EDIT. forget didn't meant to double post, I meant to modify.
I have 2 OS

Then you should be perfectly fine with it.

What's your point?
That he has two operating systems, Dave.  Could be wrong though.

That joke got old long ago.

And your point is?   :cookieMonster:

Bought, DL'd, and played through the campaign, plus the "I hate Mountains" Custom campaign. Don't lag on the regular campaign, but when it get's really intense on the custom campaign then I have an occasional lag spike. Although, it's the type of lag that's hardly at all noticeable and it's playable. I'm impressed, I'm gonna buy Oblivion GOTY delux in the coming weeks, see how I can handle that.

I missed a joke?

It was a joke Tay was making. He found out my name is Dave, so he feels the need to go out of his way to call me by name in his posts in a poorly executed attempt to come off as creepy.
