It's 3am so it's pretty much as dark as it's going to get since it's light at about 5.

I'm getting up at about 4:00 AM to watch it.

Staying up till 6 A.M is a daily routine for me in the summer, I won't have a problem watching it.

Well, I stood out there for nearly 30-50 minutes taking long-term pictures. Didn't catch any meteors, but saw a pretty good show.
