Author Topic: Oblivion-Main Quest has been terminated (Read 1372 times)

I went into the Oblivion gate outside Cheydinhal, looking to convince the city's count to send aid for Bruma. As you all should know, the Knights of the Thorn are supposed to get there before you and go into the gate, the Count's son Farwil in the lead. As I moved towards the citadel in Oblivion and found Farwil and his fellow Knight, I decided to kill them in a fit of sadistic evil. A few seconds passed and I got a quest message saying that Farwil had died by my hand, and that the Count would not be happy with me. So after about ten minutes, I closed the gate and went to the castle. I talked to the Count and he said that I had some nerve talking to him after killing his son, and refused to say any more. This, of course, rendered asking him to send aid for Bruma impossible. I have no saves prior to killing Farwil, no patches, no downloadable content, and I'm on the Xbox version. Oh well. forget me. Guess I'll just let the Mythic Dawn keep shoving Oblivion gates up Cyrodiil's ass. I can get fresh ingredients from Oblivion now, I guess that's one good thing that comes out of that. Thought you all ought to know. Share any similar stories.

EDIT: On the bright side, my character has now waited for a total of 888 hours :D

EDIT #2: Nevermind people, the main quest is all done up now. (thanks for that advice Zou)

I killed all of Hackdirt, I helped that one renagade, then I killed him after I took his gold :P

Does he still get angry if you just shove the son into lava? I did that with the other knight. (Accidentally!)
