Author Topic: Thin Bricks  (Read 1296 times)

I recently noticed something interesting from "A Random Brick Pack". (Well, one of the interesting things.) In it, he has a couple of print bricks. They're the normal 2x2 print and the 2x2 round print bricks. But they're on their side. Making something like a thin brick. (A bit less than half the width of a normal brick.) It takes up the normal space of a brick, but look thinner. This can allow for a lot of new things to be built, such as flags, signs, walls, all sorts of nice stuff. So I'm suggesting that someone make these kinds of bricks in various sizes, like a 1x1 brick, a few wall bricks, maybe a plate size or two. But I would really enjoy having more bricks like this, because I'm already using the ones I have nonstop.

Good grief I could make a air vent!Supported 100000000 times  :cookie:

Yes we could make bath tubs!

I think Ephialtes or Space Guy was talking about the chaos that would ensue if this sort of thing were made... I'll try and find the quite.

Edit:
Once you have a half-width brick you'll soon find a need for a quarter-width one, and so on. It's best to keep it how it is otherwise we'll end up with detailing via thousands of minuscule 1/500th size bricks used like in v0002 when RTB added the Editor Wand...

its a good idea yes, but as the above text has hinted, it wouldn't be good for long.
