Two ideas:
Hoard:This gamemode works sorta like CTF, except you have to collect a number of objectives and deliver them to the "collection bin" somewhere in your base or in the build somewhere, the objectives act as items and you can carry any number of objectives depending on how many slots you have free in your inventory. (Maybe a special playertype for this) You take them to your base, and store them there. You may steal back captured objectives (if this option is enabled). Two ways to win:
- The team who has collected all the objectives first.
- The team who has collected the most objectives in a time limit.
The objectives must be recovered by physically bringing them back to the base, not recovering them instantly in a CTF.
Ambush:The teams must ambush/sabotage any number of designated targets, specified by either special spawns or by events. It could work as an attack/defense or by complete domination. The targeted objects could be players or vehicles. Three ways to win:
- The team who has destroyed more targets in the time limit.
- The team who has destroyed all the targets of the other team.
- The teamwho has gotten all targets safely to a checkpoint or "safe zone"
This would be ideal for the idea of sabotaging a convoy of enemy vehicles.
