well, i figured there must be a maximum ammount of data that can travel to and from the people every so often, and when the host DLs something, the server tends to have a lag spike

no.....if your comp cant handle multiple Downloads and run BL theres a problem but in that case mine pauses the larger file and once the smaller ones finish it starts again...........dose anyone eles's comp do that?

not on my server, other server hosts, when i tell them to DL something and they do, there is a lag spike, and that's how i know if they DL it or not

Slowness wouldn't lag the rest of the server.
