Author Topic: My steam is broken  (Read 507 times)

Basically, i haven't been able to play steam games online for a few months now. I can launch the games and play them single player just fine, but any game that valve made that uses multiplayer will display a connection failed after 4 retries thing. I have done everything i could think of, and everything on the steam support forums, besides connecting straight to my modem. Mostly because i do not have a cord that will stretch a hundred feet to reach it.
What i've done (hopefully you can read it) https://support.steampowered.com/view.php?ticketref=5418-PHBN-9549
Halp :c

Edit: the only other thing i can think of is my wireless network card being 5 years old, but i used it for three years without any problem.

And you waited this long to fix it why?
Anyways I need more information like your internet provider. It can be anything from ports, to modem issues, etc.

I have Cox internet (which yes, sucks roosters), Port fowarding doesn't do stuff. I tried to open a port from my computer, and i couldn't get a single packet through it.
