Author Topic: Concerned for my PS3  (Read 1912 times)

Don't play your PS3 for over 5 hours straight is my only suggestion. They are boilers once they are on for over 1, my dad's little infrared camera (its fun) registered the heat coming out at over 50 degrees.

I wasn't playing for 5 or more hours, more like 1 or 2.

And I was just playing for quite some time, no problem.

Same problem happened to me, I have a new PS3 now

I've left mine on for much longer periods then that without any problems. My PS3 is approaching 4 years old now and I've only had one problem with it, that I quickly got fixed for free. You just have to give it adequate space to ventilate and clear dust every now and then with a fan test. It'll run like it's brand new.

What happend when you turned it back on? Did it work fine?

Umm I hope you don't mean Fahrenheit because if it is that's pretty cold.
