caps lock is off the internet is fine and i just changed it the password so yes

i do this all the time when i sign into things

make sure you're typing
thCIAanemail@whatever.com
with the @ and the period. also make sure that you're typing the name of the address correctly.
make sure you're not typing this:
thCIAanemail@watevr,com
thCIAanemil#watevrcom
etc.
