Hey i was wondering how you get rid of the www.fraps.com thing on the top of your screen and the Yellow numbers when you film.

You have to buy Fraps, as it is the watermark.

Get Camtasia. Its the best that I know for screen recording on a PC. (I use a Mac so I have ScreenFlow.)

Fraps is for gameplay, Camtista is for screen recording.

Yeah, but guess what? Fraps is crap quality compared to Camtasia. And Camtasia can easily be used as a gameplay recorder.

That only depends on your selected codec and quality settings, also Camtista takes more FPS up than fraps for game play and plays it back badly.

WRONG. Fraps is uncompressed what you see is what happened.
Which is why a few minutes is over a gig.

I've filmed 15 minutes of me playing Minecraft with Fraps uncompressed. Beautiful quality. The video player actually looks like a window of minecraft. Granted Youtube tends to mess up video quality, Fraps is pretty damn good. I don't know anything about Camtasia, though.

You can actually screen record with Fraps but I don't recommend it, as it is stuffty quality for that.
But I got full version and Fraps is the Best Game Recording program I have ever seen or owned
