Author Topic: Need help finding a good gaming computer.  (Read 2041 times)

The question shouldn't be that you need help finding one, but that you need help building one!

You could get a lot more bang for your buck, and it will most likely turn out better if you build it from $600 worth of parts than getting a $600 premade crap turd.
this, just find someone to build it for you or maybe take it to a computer shop and see if they can build it for you.

Dont know any places or people like that.
Do you know if the one keo suggested is good?

Really try to bump it up to $800. Then you can get an Alienware M11x.
HDMi port to plug it into you TV for big screen coolness.
I really want one, and it plays those games listed well.

I cant increase the price i have a good enough screen and i dont care if games are on low settings as long as they play good.

Well theres a graphics card for 100$ that runs starcraft II on Ultra setttings. (Provided the rest of the computer is good.) It's the Radeon HD 4850.

AlienWare sucks.

Build it yourself and recycle parts from previous computers, it saves huge amounts of amount
You should have bought parts on Black Friday and on the Black Friday weekend, could have saved a ton of money or you could have bought a better computer.

only reason to ever get an alienware is if you want a powerful laptop and then there's still better choices

alienware desktop computers are a ripoff and a joke

I dont know how to edit or make a computer and no one i know does either.
it's not hard, you just need to make sure parts are compatible (IE if your motherboard has a PCI slot don't buy an AGP card), you have enough power coming from your power supply, make sure you have enough room in your case, etc
