I remember seeing a an emitter that formed a string between two bricks. Anyone know where it went?

I thought it was only an idea that was thrown around by Squideey and Eksi? There was some thread a while back about it, got a lot of activity in it and discussion. Anyone ells remember?

I definitely remember seeing screenshots of the emitter. It also had physics and you could collide with it.
