Where did quote within quote go?

I remember a while ago when you quoted someone who had quoted someone else, the quote would appear within your quote. /confuse
Now when you quote somebody who had quoted someone else, the other quote doesn't appear. Sometimes people won't know what you're talking about if you quote somebody, but that person's quote is missing. It's annoying.
Why is this feature gone?
And yes, you can do quote within quote manually, but it's too hard work for one post.
