Author Topic: move bricks in a new way  (Read 639 times)

yes, rotate bricks a new way, tilting
preatty much, you could make a brick on its side
i won't be surprised if this won't work
i just wanna see if it will work because THAT WOULD BE EPIC

Not possible, use search. If searching really doesn't find anything, I'm sure someone else can explain. This has been said impossible with the actual game bricks as a granted since launch.

Yeah. Not possible. Due to the grid building style that Blockland uses, pitch and roll rotation is impossible.

the grid is not a cube, just rectangular prisms, as a 2*2*5 (in plates) is a cube (based on cube bricks), which would be a 1*1*2.5, and when rotated, each 1 would therefor become 2.5 (horizontal to vertical)

Imagine the blocks as legos, you put on on it's side, its not staying there, it messes up the grid of the build, and nothing sticks to it. The only way I see this working is with a block that has both grabbing and holding nudges on each side witch seems like a paradox at this time. Plus with other blocks, and some fancy building techniques, this wouldn't really be needed.

We already said it's not even possible with our normal bricks. You'd have to go back to .DTS which defeats the purpose of our new system. Unless Badspot something I don't know all the facts so I'll shut up now.
