Author Topic: I'm Sick Of Snow Delays  (Read 1919 times)

No school today for me :P 3rd time in a few weeks, 5-10" have gotten my school canceled for the 3rd time in two weeks.

I've never missed a day of school because of snow. In fact, in ten years, I've never heard of a finnish school being closed due to snow or the temperature. Ever.

The forget? Hanukkah isn't a Christmas holiday, for one, you douche.

School, mate.

Do they not give you time off at christmas? jesus forget.

We've had one or two closings so far.
And lol @ adding days to the year. I don't even think they do that here. If they do it's after final exams, and after final exams they don't even bother to count people as absent because the only people in the school are teachers. Everyone else is either sleeping or recovering from hangovers.

I'm actually getting sick of snow days.
Seriously. We've had 3 in 2 weeks.
After a while sitting at home doing no stuff with power off is bad.

School, mate.

Do they not give you time off at christmas? jesus forget.

I guess no one ever taught you. Christmas is a Christian Holiday. It isn't a universal holiday. I'm Jewish on my Mom's side and Christian on my Dads. The time off corresponds with Christmas but it should be purposed toward "the holidays."

You called?

Wait.

:c

No no, I called your cousin. I only need you for when I don't have the stamina for that hot chick. ;)

It's funny how up here in Chicago, they close the schools, even if there is like 1 inch on the ground.

It's funny how here, they close the school before they THINK it might snow. (last week it was supposed to snow from 7am-5pm, so they closed the schools, it snowed at 5pm, starting, schools are all closed by that time, they fail.)

Had 2 hour delay today. I love snow.
