Author Topic: I'm Sick Of Snow Delays  (Read 1926 times)

in georgia we have 3 saltspreader trucks and 1 snow plow.
For the entire state.

I really hope we don't have a 2 hour delay or i'll miss first hour tomorrow
Last day of Cartoon Animation :(

pusillanimous individual.
Over here, we get delays when it's -30.
Or -22F
Blame the superintendent, not me. :/

I hate it.
We basically, get on the bus, and go to school, only to meet a teacher there saying "Schools Closed" We're like "Oh yay"
But how do we get back? The bus has to go to different schools to pick other students up, so we basically have to walk home.

I was out cause snow all last week.

This is cool but also horrible. This is our 4th snow day out of 5 we are allowed total. After the 5th, they cut into Spring Break. :panda: We had a 2 hour delay on Wedsday, and no school on Tuesday.

In my area, they've changed 2 hour delays to full on closings plenty of times. Wonder if they would for you... For me, a 2 hour delay is worse. I only have to be in class 4-5 of the full 9 periods. With a 2 hour delay, by the time 4th period comes around, it's an hour later than I usually get out. I didn't even check for a 2 hour delay on a gym day...

My school had like one inch of snow, and we closed  :cookieMonster:

this cutting into spring break business is weird, they just tack on extra days into summer for me.

That's what I used to think... I think they might have used to... Now this, though. :panda:

you must live in the nevada desert.
I live in the Sonoran Desert, not the Mojave.

We got like a milimeter of snow and a 2hr delay :D

Not exactly school related but I was supposed to go to jamaica over the christmas holidays but LO AND BEHOLD, The snow delayed it so much it was cancelled.
