I know you used to be able to place lights on bricks while their rendering was turned off, but Baddy changed it in one of the last few updates :c
It makes it hard when you're build's main focus is to be visually appealing, but you can't get the lighting quite right without placing floating blocks in the middle of your candle-lit stone corridor :c
Can anyone try to find a way around this? Please?

There are colorsets with fully invisible paint.
This makes the brick invisible.
I believe the default colorset comes even with a invisible color.
Not sure.

Default doesn't, but you could edit it easily, the color code would be 255 255 255 0
.::Taboo::.

There's also the ambient lighting set, which removes the flare from a light, and I've found that handy.
I generally use it for Top-down TDM builds, but it's good for, um, ambiance too.

I dislike alternative colorsets as they tend to have spontaneous abnormalities in other servers.
