Author Topic: Mounting Models?  (Read 755 times)

Is there a way to mount other models onto  a weapon in Blockland. This would be good for making mods of weapons that you want ingame without making multiple models of the same gun with different attachments. So like, if i had an M4, and i wanted to make it have an ACOG sight, all I would need is the M4 model, and the ACOG model and then a script that mounts the ACOG to the M4 based on the position of a joint in the M4 model.

Well you can mount players onto vehicles with joints, I don't see why you can't do that with weapons.

You CANNOT mount something to a weapon image. Impossible.

It's possible to mount to the player though, if the weapon is in the right hand you could mount it to the right hand.

How about mounting multiple weapon images to one slot? That would work too.

If OP were a bit less lazy, all he would have to do is make the weapon with everything on it and hide/unhide as needed.

Demain's suggestion would work as well, if possible, but it would take more work, I'm guessing.

Being lazy is fun
