You wouldn't be saying it was sad unless you wanted to offend the people that play.
That's pretty much the only reason people who don't play hang around here.
It's not that the "if you don't have anything nice to say, shut the forget up" rule actually applies on these forums, but rather that people who don't play the game don't really have anything to say at all.
Yes, the game averages fewer players than a single match of "rock paper scissors." Yes, it has more bugs than an ant farm. Yes, updates can be listed by the year they came in. Yes, all of the skilled players are starfishs. Yes, Badspot never mentions it, probably never even thinks about it. Yes, it's a wonder that despite all of these things, people still play it.
All of these points are blatantly clear to anyone who knows the game. Why do people keep showing up here to say it again and again?
