Author Topic: Lua Scripts?  (Read 2216 times)

It would be pretty cool if there was Lua Scripting in blockland...
You could make more and stuff like that.

No you couldn't make more stuff like that.

You don't understand very much.

Blockland uses the Torque engine and thus, it is not possible to incorporate the Lua coding language into Blockland, which, if I may reiterate, uses the Torque engine.

Not without extensive engine changes, I mean.

Not to mention Lua is not very good anyways.

A lot of people quit Roblox and moved onto Blockland because of the difficulty of the scripting, like me, for instance.

I hope you mean that Torque is harder than Lua.
Lua, on Roblox, especially, is too simple.

Sadly, otto-san, it's the opposite. I don't know any Lua whatsoever, and it's impossible for me to learn. I basicly can't write any scripts that involve filling a whole sheet with some computer language that's almost impossible to remember.

I don't understand why some people say it's easy. For me, I just, can't understand it.

Make more what? And stuff like what? The scripting we have now is fine. Lua would just forget it up.

Takes practice.
