Author Topic: New computer, no increased performance  (Read 2032 times)

Wow! My computer runs fast now!

Anyways, his fps should be much higher. His comp is better than mine and on the same settings, I get 3-4x the fps he does.
I would put that in my PC!  :cookieMonster:

It's fixed. I disabled "Disable vertex buffer objects." I feel handicapped.

I get 80fps with 32x AA and 16x AF at 1080p and 250(ish)fps with 8x AA.
Where is this "vertex buffer objects" and where may i disable?

nvm

Solved. CCleaner messed up my Nvidia registry and drivers. I did a system restore and it's back to normal.

ccleaner did that?
i run the thing like weekly when i restart. i never even look at what its doing.
wonder if i should lol

Probably, lol. Apparently it's semi-common with Nvidia drivers.

we are talking about registrys? (that i also dont even watch ccleaner do)
or other cache it cleans on its normal scan. like what setting do i disable to avoid it?

im up for any and all tips on making mah games better

As far as I know, registry, but I'm not certain. Google "Nvidia control panel missing."
