Now what about taking music files from game files. Is that okay too? I mean I already bought the game so it makes sense, but I just want to be sure.

If the game has a free soundtrack, yes, but I'm not so sure about other circumstances.

if you bought the game the music is your property and you can listen to it when ever you like.
