Its not so useful if people don't see an effect I intend them to see, just because they don't have the addon..

Suck.

Badspot should fail all of them. In fact, didn't he have some similar policy against stuff like that? Seriously, it's obstructive to the gameplay for something disruptive.

When I go to play with a friend, and am presented with "You need this GUI to play!" it's an extreme disruption. I've done this before, and the GUI sucks and obstructs my gameplay. In fact, I should remove it, but I'd rather not be barred from the servers for the GUI I never loving use. It defeats one of the main purposes of the game. Imagine if all Add-Ons could do this, it'd destroy the flow to say the least.
