This thread does not need any bumps, let alone several ones at 30 minute intervals.  This is not a very good idea and could easily be done with default stuff and some cooperation.  Why would you want to play hide and seek with uncooperative people anyways?

i think badspot disabled hiding playernames completely

It's most likely not completely.  You can't completely hide playernames but you can change the distance they are visible from.
