I enjoyed the Eragon series quite a bit.  Also, any and all Artemis Fowl you can get your hands on.  Ender's Game was amazing.  The Supernaturalist was pretty cool too.

Obviously from there you have classics, The Old Man and the Sea, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Huckleberry Finn, Of Mice & Men, (nearly made me cry, no joke ;_;) and A Separate Peace.

All wonderful books, and I hate reading.
