Bill S.978 is being run through the U.S Legal System. If this bill is passed, then this will cause everybody's videos with game footage, to be taken down. No more "Lets Play's" or stuff like that. Many of you post footage of TF2 and games like that. Because of this bill, it will cause all those video's to be taken down. This not only affects games, but other things too.
Lets say you have a child. The bill says it will take down videos with, "Public Performances by Electronic Means". If you take a video of your child singing, I don't know, Lady Gaga, or any song from anywhere. That video will be taken down.
Not only would the video be taken down. But the bill is making it a felony to post copyrighted material. So you can be arrested for posting the video.
I am posting this so everybody in Blockland to be aware of this. If this bill is passed, think twice before you upload that TF2 video.
