I was surfing youtube, and I came across this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nuQlb7E-8g4&feature=related
Apparently, there's some neat science trick that you can perform which allows you to simulate how pressure systems work in a visible way, you know what. Just watch the video.

Or if you're too lazy:

(Don't breathe while you attempt this, also be aware of the lighting in the room that you are in)

Step 1: Inhale, close your mouth, hold your nose.

Step 2: Make a clicking sound with your tongue 5-15 times (If you don't know how, watch the video.)

Step 3: Put pressure against the front of your mouth, and against the air in your mouth.

Step 4: (Don't exhale!) Open your mouth, and let the smoke flow out.

Exhalation will make the smoke go away very quickly and you won't be able to see it well.

That shows basically what is happening in your mouth, through something that you can see.
