Max OSX Lion fullscreen support?

So at the moment if you want to have the option of playing block land on full screen, it becomes impossible to switch applications or go to the desktop as you can in windows.
However with the new fullscreen mode in 'lion' you are able to swap the application as normal.

So i was just wondering if in the text update it would be possible to include support for the new fullscreen mode rather than using the existing method which renders anything else unusable?
