Yep, it's time for another drum cover. Leave your feedback, thumbs up the video if you like it, and try to be constructive.

Thanks!

Covering a half-time beat with really basic sequencing is really easy honestly.. And I think this is in the wrong section. Honestly I think even I'm capable of this. I think anyone who knows what percussion instrument makes what sound, could do this.

Learning drums is harder than you think

I misread Skrillex as "Skillet" lol

Is the song I'm hearing edited in or was it being broadcasted when you were recording?

And so is actually producing dubstep but it's really easy once you have an understanding of it.

Simple but buttery. You'll find it's easier to roll out of a hi-hat groove if you play overhand. Also the music was too quiet so I couldn't really tell if you were on beat. Not bad though, smooth and stylish without being flamboyant.

I felt the same way especially when his (wobble) 'bass' (he's.. definitely a mid and high-range fan.. haha) dropped.

It's a simple song, yes, but it gives a drummer an opportunity to encorporate his own bits to the song and really have fun with it, instead of being forced to stick to how the song was recorded, because the beat is complex/fun enough as is. Both make for good drum covers, but I'm sorry this one isn't complex enough for you.

I edited it in. I'm listening to the song through earbuds while playing. Lol, acoustics in my room are terrible so there's no way I would be able to hear the song over the drums without breaking my speakers.

Yes, but the acquisition of the skill and understanding of either drumming, or producing dubstep is the somewhat challenging part, unless of course you're some kind of prodigy who can just pick up sticks and free style to a song. I would appreciate that.

Pretty simple song, skipped through most of it because of the repetition. I honestly suggest you don't do drum covers for electronic songs, although I did notice you mentioned that it was a warm up song.

Yeah, I don't plan on doing much of this kinda stuff, but please listen to at least some of it! I try to add some flare to the simple beat :c

Well I listened to most of it, didn't sound bad. I just hated the repetition of the bad electronic music.
