>Faster than Chrome

Considering Chrome is faster than Firefox (I think) that's a complete lie. It can't even beat IE9.

Im using it right now.

Seems legit

And it is faster than IE.

The problem is when a company uses Product A, which is targeted at idiots and has a huge marketshare (near-monopoly), to propagate the use of Product B, which is a bunch of crap, to another near-monopoly situation by including it as default and disallowing the uninstallation of it, while A is VERY "sticky".

It's too integrated to Windows. If you'd remove IE then many applications (including some core Windows ones) simply wouldn't work.

You can uninstall it in Windows 7. But the only thing uninstallation does it delete the excecuteable; all other files are left on the HDD.
