It's faster than IE or Firefox, but what about Chrome?
>imlying chrome is any faster

damnit

i use chrome because its got the search bar in the url and none of those loving clunky toolbars

I installed Lunascape to benchmark, and:

Help, this does not let me do the test.

Ok, got the Gecko display type and changed to it.

I think something's wrong.

My main browser (Maxthon):

Uh, yeah.

If the above things are right, Lunascape sucks :cookieMonster:.

Chrome has actually proven to be slower than Firefox when you use the acid3 test.
Opera is the fastest and passes all tests.

So why does it seem chrome is faster then FF?

It's really what feels the fastest and not by what really is the fastest by statistics.

For me chrome feels the fastest.

For me chrome feels the fastest.

I don't notice any speed difference because everything seems nearly instant to me. I guess I'm too patient to care about that 0.01 second difference.

However, the acid3 test shows that chrome takes longer than normal on some tests.

Does anyone care? This isnt a browser wars thread
