Author Topic: Took a further inspection on how easy my life will be  (Read 1065 times)

Alright, but it sounds like you're saying the army is the fastest way to get around hardships of life.

I suggest you be careful at what you expect the army to be like. You can't bust your ass from E-4 to Colonel, even if you could go through JROTC and go in as an E-4.

You must know that some people just aren't born with leadership abilities. You might be a case that just isn't meant to be a Colonel. Sure, you can still get there, but either way it's going to be tough.
I understand it wouldn't be easy at all, but thats just life. I just think if i work hard at it I'll be able to do something with my life. Oh and sorry for always hating on you, I see what it's like for you now.

not so easy is it :c

As a matter of curiosity, does the school you go to have a military structure, requiring you to keep a haircut and wear a uniform?

Yep, I see alot of people get on the buses to go to the highschool in uniform all the time

So you wear legitamite ACU's/Cannies?

can I ask which school this is?

My grandfather used to own two Trailer parks and made 15K a month from rent. Now he sold both of them and got 5.6Million for them. I think that's more. And you don't worry about getting shot.

The army is not easy, just remember...

guess so
and I'll be going to Rhea County Highschool

Do JROTC for four years in highschool and then when you're done go to some military college to become an officer.

Easy street in the army would actually becoming a crooner with friends in the USO and then making the big time from there. But that's just a suggestion. Good luck. I'm glad to see your thinking of your future, mio fra'. Stick to it, and what ever you do, be the best at it. Just try not to hurt others on the climb.

I think what you're looking for is college ROTC. That only puts you in as a higher ranked enlist. OCS and GREEN TO GOLD and something else is what gets you in as an officer.

Remember, the higher rank you are, the more danger and more responsibilities you have. A Colonel is in charge of 3,000–5,000 men. A platoon leader (Second Lieutenant) holds the lives of 26–55 men in his hands, and he is leading from the front, where all the bullets and haze is.

It takes something of a man to do this job.

So if i bust my ass for a while after that, if i keep my stuff straight I'll be a captain in now time, which is like 3000 a month
id be making 120k a year

3000*12 == 36000
