Author Topic: Mass Effect 2 awc.dll load failed.  (Read 7943 times)

Recently I bought mass effect 2 on orgin(don't ask why), so I waited for it to download then install(like 12 hours), only to get the god damn "awc.dll load failed" message, I've spent the last hour searching support forums for an answer that actually works, and I can't seem to find any customer support from bioware or orgin. In most answers was something like running EAAccessInstaller.exe or whatever, I don't have that nor can I figure out how/where to get it. there are no paths in my EA_Core_App.ini file, so I can't edit any paths. Like I said customer support is nonexistant so I need help. I'll probably be going to sleep soon but I'll check on this thread tomorrow.

Did you email them or contact them in any way?

Go to bioware website, click support, it takes me to dragon age support. Go to orgin website, go to customer service, "ERROR

", it was like that yesterday and is still like that. There is no support emails on either website and I'm contemplating signing up on the bioware forum just because that's the ONLY support I can find.

Edit: also on the orgin client live chat:
"All EA Experts are currently assisting others. Thanks for your patience. An EA Expert will be with you shortly."
Repeat 7 times.

Thats EA for you, turning out a half baked product (I am talking about Origin).

Literally. Their support sucks, I have no idea what I was smoking when I decided to buy anything other than bf3 on orgin.

I wait about a half hour just to get support on the live chat, then wait AGAIN while the person says "one moment please" only to lose my chat because I had it minimized.

EA support is now officially worse than dell's. I've waited for a "live" chat person for over an hour now. Dell you can at least find what you're looking for and their website isn't broken.

Getting a refund! Now I shall go and buy it on steam so I know it will actually work...
