Author Topic: UnFlatShading in milkshape?  (Read 997 times)

Is it possible to unflatshade in milkshape 3d? I accidently flat shaded something and now I can't figure out how to get rid of it.

There are two types of shading and flat shading is the default. Smooth shading is the other one.

I think it is smooth shading because ingame its all smooth

Select it and weld it together. If that doesn't work, make sure 'Auto-Smooth' is checked.

To flatshade you unweld, to smoothshade you weld.

No I mean in game. In game it is all smoothed and I don't know how to undo it.

Oh, did you use smoothing groups? If you did, then go to where the smoothing groups are, and click 'Clear All'

I am in textured view and I hit clear all and everything still smoothed out. In game still smoothed out

Just select the model and unweld all.
