We used to have the same problem. Take 7 dust, and line the outside of you house with it. And then go in your attic and put a ton of it up there. We do this every year and we never have ant problems.

Ants wont go near cucumber skin, so just peel a cucumber and put it near the nest or where they are getting into the house as a temporary fix. Obviously call an exterminator or use an ant trap for a permanent fix.

Don't buy Ant Spray stuff, That only kills 10% of the ants in your house, also known as the 10% that are currently outside the walls. Get bait traps, They kill it slowly, so that the ants go back to the walls and poison all the other ants inside the walls.
