Well i got 1.8 and was RELLY exsited about it and i go to a world a BOOM blackscreen. I heard that theres a new lightning engine in it and macs 10.6 or older might not work. I already looked at the software update thing and nothing came up so can someone tell me the update i need and how to get it?

How is it possible you loving miss a 4000+ page thread?
Are you seeing a black sceen on minecraft because you are blind or something?

No i just have a mac that is v10.5 and i dont know how to get an update for it and the mincraft lightning engine isnt compatible with that!
