Author Topic: Should I publish my MECH face?  (Read 1398 times)

I'm pretty sure that adding even an empty server.cs file to the decal's .zip will do that

Maybe in an update Badspot could add an option to download the host's decals, disabled by default.

That would only force users to download decals by the host; overtime it might work out as you are exposed to more and more servers.

Why is it not possible for the users current image to be uploaded to the server (perhaps through a similar process as a save file upload) and have it be discretely downloaded to all clients for temporary use? Decals are pretty tiny usually, shouldn't lag anyone.

There should be a way to block a certain ID's decals for when you enable it, and someone has a crude image or such, you can block their decal/face.

I don't get why every single online sandbox game except for ours can see a user's custom skin or decals...

I also think Badspot should do more of those "Submit epic builds and decals for v__".  Those made the updates way more fun, would be pretty easy for him to put out, and its pretty awesome when you see something you made on the homepage.

yeah, I'm honestly curious about what they do about that in Roblox
but in Gmod, you can't see the textures
