Author Topic: Steam Help - Logins  (Read 650 times)

Well I tried to login to TF2WH one day through steam and it wouldn't let me, even though I made sure everything was right. I then changed my password and tried again. Still no luck. Now i'm afraid that I changed my password to something I don't remember, I think I mixed the numbers up in my head. Now it won't let me change my password through steam or let me login on the website. What should I do? Should I log out and try to recover my account?

Tell it to send you your password via EMail.

How?

Sorry if i'm being stupid, i really hoped I never had to use this stuff.

How?
I think there's a "Forgot your password" link when logging in.

Ok, I got to that. Now i'm at the my secret question part. What happens if I forgot the answer to it?

I can't seem to get it right. :C

Sorry, can't help you :/

Well I put in a steam ticket to see if they can help me. Hopefully they can get my password back.

The Steam Community was just down, have you tried recently?

It was yesterday and I believe the day before. I'm also trying to log in now and it won't go through.

Oh stuff

When I log in and it says that I should see steam support the link goes to the article on "your account is being used on another computer," But on the pop up it says that the account doesn't exist/password is wrong.

Steam support that stuff.
You've been hacked.

You've been hacked.
I already put a steam ticket in.
Hopefully they can get back to me before any damage is done.

Also I don't think I was hacked. I never put in my password anywhere other than a steam website and  none of my personal info is different.

Ok, good news.
Triple post
As far as I know steam guard was active last time I was on steam and I think that means my eMail is verified which hinders hackers.
I tried Reclaiming my passcode earlier and got the email from steam with the code for it and my secret question so if I did get hacked the hacker is stupid and didn't bother to change the contact address.
