I was over at one of my friend's house a few years ago, and his older brother was playing it. He let my sister and I mess around on singleplayer for a bit.
We went home a few hours later, and my sister downloaded the demo. We both played demo on her computer for a while, and then our dad let us buy the game. My sis and I took turns playing it on her computer for a few months, and then I decided to buy the game in the early 10K's. It was rather frustrating because at the time, there were a few '4-DIGIT ID ONLY!' servers. I didn't like playing on servers by myself, so I joined every server my sister joined. One of these was a '4-digit ID only' server, and as a result, I was banned.
My sister and I joined the forums a few months later. My sister was permanently banned a few weeks after joining, and I was banned for a while a week or so after my sister. I came back after a few months, a bit more mature than I was when I first joined, but I quickly became frustrated with the community and left again.
I decided to look around a bit around the time Ephi and Kalphiter were 'arguing' about Blockland Cloud. I was off-and-on for a while after I got into an argument with Previous, and after that off-and-on period I gradually became an active member on the forums, gradually getting more mature as I understood the rules and community better.
Such a boring history, lol
