6'0" 280-ish. Also 14.

Also, lifting weights will usually give you less weight loss than just burning fat, because muscle is heavier than fat.

I'm only a little bit on the skinny side, not very much though :o

You should start running, or biking. Those are both easily accessible activities and help a ton.
