Named brick events for other people's bricks?

I was wondering if there was a mod or a way for someone to make a mod that allows you to use the named brick event for other player's bricks (if you have full trust).

No because it's abusive as hell. You can only refer to your own named bricks in events regardless of trust.

Perhaps if there's a toggle for Admin Only. Otherwise it gets abusive. But it would be so damn useful for the following reason:

When you load a save, any brick's ownership goes to the owner of the baseplate that it is primarily built on. And when you build on another's plate with fulltrust (which is what I am trying to do for a mini scavenger hunt within some game), that means not you. And since the 'gallery' is owned by me, the plates the 'scavenger hunt' items go on must be owned by me, or else it will not function properly. I wanted to make the artifacts disappear when found and reappear in the gallery.
This also happened to several teledoors whenever a save was loaded.
