Author Topic: Does a print have to be 512?  (Read 1304 times)

Just a question. I really need high-quality prints because i have a HUGE Brick, But i was wondering if i could make them bigger.

I think it can be any power of 2, but I am not sure.

512pixels just makes the image look better because the brick stretches the image .. but 256x256 should be fine .. and icons should be 64x64 no exceptions

I was needing it to be bigger. alot. Bigger.

Therefore you could use 1024 or 2048 or 4096 (and so on).

I see what your doing here :3

512 would be perfectly fine for any image .. i use 256x256 for my prints and it works fine . .so really no need to make a huge image file that will just look microscopic on a print brick.

I'd assume this is the reason he'd want high quality prints; and as has been said before any power of 2 will work.

HUGE Brick
512 would be plenty size for even a 64x64 print brick ..

The quality is too low when it goes on it though, It's all pixelated nearly

Then that would mean the original Print is pixalated, that has nothign to do with the size

512x512, 256x256, 128x128, 256x128 etc, as long as its of 512 - 256 or 128

NOTHING else will work, believe me, I tried

512x512, 256x256, 128x128, 256x128 etc, as long as its of 512 - 256 or 128

prints larger than 512 can be used. Example, my drive-in video uses prints that are 1024x512. So a 1024x1024 should still work, and even a 2048x2048 could potentially work.
(but the prints were in a folder named "print_1x16" meaning it doesnt show up on 1x1 and 2x2 print bricks, only the special movie wall brick i made uses them)

and robin, make sure the prints also have an icon folder with every print being exactly 64x64, or else the print wont show up for use.
