I know how they can make a stretchable and moving brick for Retail
Koden says: (10:12:12 AM)
Import the DTS's from Vanilla/RTB, and give them different brick names

then put them under a different brick selecctor

then you can give them mover or scaled properties

You mean make doors using DTS? You do know that's been suggested already, right? And whats the point of the less-laggy brick setup if we put back the old DTS?

It's only for the movers/stretch-bricks to have the DTS. I've thought about all of this.

I was putting in "old DTS models for stuff" but that sounded stupid so I just put it in as "old DTS." I know you mean only for stretching and movers, but you are still putting in DTS. A lot of stuff in the game would be stretched, most likely, and people would want lots of movers in their buildings. In this other topic, someone suggested the engine make a virtual brick coded by the engine itself as a temp and could be deleted and remade to new dimensions as needed. This would probably slow down the game, but this seems to be better for the brick system currently, instead of putting back DTS.

Aren't slope bricks and things as laggy as that, if not more because they use .dts for collisions?

This use some kind of engine code with the DTS's collision, but the point is you'd still be putting in DTS that people would use to much and lag us to death...in a few hundred bricks....INSTEAD OF 10'S OF THOUSANDS!...so.....ya

I don't care about stretch bricks anymore, but I want movers, even if someone has to get creative, and use some sort of non-enterable vehicle that moves. [/hint]

Someone could make an extremely cheap one where the brick is destroyed, oved in a direction, destroyed, and moved in another so it is out of the way, then it'd go back...LOL

Jookia did this, but I think it's bollocks. It would lag a lot more than having a moving dts.

A simple stretching tool would be great for Blockland retail. It would help make it easier to build big things. Maybe a bit laggy but it would be great. If it was made I might actually download it.

I wouldnt. Blockland dosent need EW.

I don't need an editor wand. I knew a few people who considered it cheating in RtB if you weren't building abnormally large things.
