Metroid Doors

I'm gonna make a Metroid build and am wondering what to use for the circular shield doors, I am asking if there are any, and if not, could you plz make one for JVS if you can, thanx.

For once I find a suggestion which is practical and worthwhile. This type of door wouldn't JUST be suitable for anything Metroid themed, having an iris-type door in general would be useful.

If you look at the old topic it has a modle reference some other dude made, I reallly think this'll be cool when its done.

EDIT:  I also think that they should be what ever color when you plant them, and turn grey when you shoot them, also, no on activate stuff, only on projectile hit, or, I could just event that.

I'm not entirely sure if the grapple doors would be possible, if I correctly remember the ones you're talking about.
