But that technology can destroy a planet. Animals cause no harm to the ecosystem, in fact they keep it balanced.
We could balance the ecosystem if we wanted. We could have our societies be 100% eco-friendly and not have other animals exist. The thing is, humans don't want to give up luxuries.

When that happens, I'll cast my vote for humans. As of now, we're drilling into the Earth and warring with one another.

The problem with this question is that it isn't complete. The word 'important' means nothing without adding 'to X' at the end of it.

Humans - if the world came under attack by something (meteor ect,) in the future we may have the power to stop it, and save all the animals. On the other hand we do need animals for alot of things. Food being the utmost important.

In terms of the question being too vague, this is the question I was told to ask, it's exactly what I will ask. We were given no context.

Seems like a vague question to me.
I'd assume it's a "Which is more important to us" question.
