That is because survival horror just doesn't sell these days. You have to throw FPS into the mix or people won't buy it.
I don't mind smooth fps, as long as it isn't over done, but they should keep RE to its original style.

I agree with it as well, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy this RE. The original Resident Evil was pretty ground breaking in the early 90's but it was a piece of stuff. Resident Evil 2 fixed and improved everything that was supposed to be apart of the first RE. Personally I think my favorite was the Remake of the first RE.
