maybe instead of that, they could make an app that shows stuff about blockland, and you can chat with RTB IRC and stuff. A lite version and a $0.99 version would be cool.

You need either A) Badspot on board, B) Ephialtes on board, or C) Ephi/Lub to finish that Pidgin plugin in order for this to be possible, without substantial reverse-engineering.
