Light Key - Torch

Would it be possible to have a server sided mod that allowed a torch model to be placed in the hand that had a fire emitter and dim orange light? All of this replacing the normal player's light, of course.

I like this idea.  Not sure about putting a physical torch in the player's hand, but I know that the player's light could be replaced.  It's been replaced on Badspot's Block Party since the Halloween update.

i was thinking attached to the torch, not attached to the players hand... this might be easily possible.

Come to think of it, it can come from the player's hand, but it doesn't necessarily have to look like it.  The light can be spriteless.  As long the light comes from somewhere near the torch, it will look like it's coming from the torch.

It's possible to attach a light to a weapon.

then again the easy solution would be to disable player lights on the server and have the torch item.
the torch kinda suck though cause there's barely any light and you only see your feet in Destruct
