Author Topic: Submit Blockland to Steam  (Read 2538 times)

he could raise the price for steam, and have the price be the same on his website

anyway, this "adventure mode" would probably be made by the players as an addon

Too many people try to do something like this, or they say are going to do something like this, then silenty quit without anyone knowing.

This will never happen, the way Blockland works with the Key system, and add-on system....it just wouldnt work out. Blockland would need its littla area for mods and evrry single good mod will have to be uploaded to that mod area for steam. I think its too much work, Badspot would have to rewrite stuff.

If anything we just need to advertise on more sites, or we need a company to fund us some little money

No, the worst thing people would have to do is enter a key for their Steam version to activate it on Steam, and enter their second key in Blockland.

The "Add-On Problem." Return to Blockland could simply be put on Steam as a free download, but require Blockland. Than people can just use that to download Add-Ons.

Hell, there is probably even a much simpler way to doing these two things that I'm too lazy to think about right now.

For the add-on system: Steam Workshop.

Well would ya' look at that!

Also, a bit Off-Topic, but I can't believe Portal 2 or Left 4 Dead 1/2 aren't in the Steam Workshop. Skyrim is, and it isn't even by Valve.
Googled it, Valve is planning to have Portal and L4D on there.

If this ever happened, SO many new people would flood the game. Badspot would make more money, but we would be buried in stupid.
